"A Glimpse of the Past: 20th Century Summerside"

May 4-25, 2003 at the Eptek Art and Culture Centre
The Summerside and Area Historical Society with assistance from the MacNaught History Centre and Archives have mounted a special exhibit that will bring back lots of memories for Summerside residents and Islanders everywhere.
Displays focus on a variety of themes, including fox farming, CFB Summerside, early merchants, harness racing, and the Crystal Rink. Local citizens have loaned artifacts and photos to enhance the exhibit that will be give a glimpse of life as it was in Summerside over the past century.
