2004 Heritage Week Activities 19/01/2004 - 26/02/2004 February 13, 2004 National Flag of Canada Day, flag raising ceremony being held at Athena Consolidated School, flag raising, singing of O'Canada, dignitaries, student presentations and reception to follow. (10:30 am) February 17, 2004 Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Heritage Visit, consisting of an interpretive tour of the Wyatt House and the MacNaught History Centre and Archives. February 20, 2004 Researching Scottish Genealogy, an informative noon hour with MacNaught History Centre Archivist Fred Horne being presented at the Eptek Art and Culture Centre, starting at 12 noon. February 25, 2004 Heritage Slide Show Information Session, presented by the staff of Wyatt Heritage Properties in the lecture room at the Summerset Manor. (1:30 pm). This presentation is being held in conjunction with the Summerset Manor Community School. The public is invited to attend. Photos of World War II Summerside & area, during Heritage Week Feb.17-22nd the public is invited to bring in old photos that reflect life in Summerside during the Second World War.
