The Macnaught History Centre and Archives

The MacNaught History Centre and Archives is at the heart of Summerside’s ongoing efforts to preserve, interpret, and better understand its heritage. Archival resources include original manuscripts such as the diaries of Miss Wanda Wyatt, local newspapers and other materials on microfilm, photographs and oral history, and the PEI Genealogical Society’s unique Master Name Index of Island families.

MacNaught History Centre and Archives also is the curatorial and administrative headquarters of the Wyatt Heritage Properties, and offers a program of changing exhibitions on local historical themes.
