The Wyatt family traveled extensively, frequenting sanatoriums and shopping in Montreal's finest shops.

One of Wanda Wyatt's most beloved trips was her 1929 World Cruise onboard SS Resolute. Visit this room and experience the wonders of travel as documented in Wanda's personal diaries. As you read the descriptions of foreign places and people she encountered, you'll see how people's outlooks and opinions have changed over the years.

The Front Room was the family's gathering place, both formal and informal. This is also where Ned often sat with his girls, reading great classical literature and debating issues. The Wyatt women hosted many bridge parties in this room. During the war years, the girls often hosted little get-togethers, singing around the piano and popping popcorn over the fire. This room is filled with beautiful pieces such as the broken pediment bureau bookcase. Wanda and Dorothy's report cards from Edgehill School for Girls can still be found in this bookcase.
