James Edward and Cecelia Wyatt occupied this glorious light filled room. The window seat facing the Lefurgey house offers a wonderful view of the gardens and connecting yard. James Edward and Cecelia were very loving and attentive parents. They encouraged their girls to experiment and explore the world around them. Cecelia Lefurgey Wyatt struggled with health related issues for much of her life and was frequently away from home, searching for cures and taking treatments at sanatoriums across North and South America. Some of the remedies that were used during this time may seem a bit unusual to us. Check out this chapter for medical cures and remedies that were used throughout the 20th century.
