Family Circle in MacNaught History Centre
(75 Spring Street)
On exhibit at the MacNaught History Centre and Archives is "Family Circles", a display centering on the three houses that comprise the Wyatt Heritage Properties and the families associated therein.

"Family Circles" features colorful, large text dappled with reproduced photographs of the families in various poses and settings. On display are also a number of objects that originally belonged to the families, including Ned Wyatt's fly-fishing wallet and beaver-felt top hat still in its leather traveling case, a small Canadian flag given to Eva MacNaught by former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, and correspondence between the Lefurgey siblings dating back to 1883.

This small exhibition provides an excellent glimpse into the lives of the Wyatt Heritage Properties' original homeowners. It serves as an introduction to the City of Summerside's commitment to heritage and the ongoing development of a heritage gemstone. Admission to "Family Circles" is free. Please call 432-1296 for more information.
